I am a practicing psychologist since 2015. I believe mental and physical health go hand in hand and that in order to make progress, we need to gain an understanding into the barriers that have held us back and sort out the issues that have brought about our internal distress.
I have helped clients with a range of issues; from relationship management, anger management, emotional and behavioral disturbances to depression, anxiety, self-confidence, esteem and body image issues, parenting concerns and more.
My work draws on the relational approach, which suggests that our self-image is greatly affected by our relationships with others and that we can deal better with life hurdles when we have the support of people to share our experiences with. To that end, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential for therapy and has to be open and honest.
Mental health refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is all about how people think, feel, and behave. People sometimes use the term “mental health” to mean the absence of a mental disorder.
Along with in-person sessions, I also take online sessions for clients globally.
